Company MKW (Metall und Kunststoffwerk Weibern) was founded in 1960 in the  Weiber in Austria as a family business and today it also functions as holding office. The second factory is located in the neighboring village of The Hague and was established in 1984. Historically the third branch  was established in 1994 in Presov in Slovakia and as a fourth in 2003 the factory in the town Ermolino in Russia.

MKW Prešov

Company MKW Prešov was founded in 1994 as a subsidiary of MKW Weibern. In close cooperation with its parent company, using a rich technical and technological know-how knowledge in developing and manufacturing, we have become a leader in the manufacture of toilet seats in Central and Eastern Europe. Professionalism of our staff, work organization and flexibility allows us to meet all the requirements of our customers, which include also major producers and distributors of sanitary ware in Europe.

Our organizational structure generally consists of a team structure. Each team member is working aware of his responsibility for the success of the entire enterprise. Follows effective exchange of information between teams and customers, which is standard for all. We work together according to agreed rules and procedures. MKW company has become an economic force with approximately 400 employees and products that include the synthetic technology, the wire, powder spray, coating with imitation of wood product, manufacturing of special tools and objects.

During 50 years  of MKW existence the  name of the company became synonymous with  those attributes that give something extra to any international group. Namely, in innovation, quality, service, success orientation, human resource management policies, open communication and reflection.

The most successful innovation companies include slow folding toilet seat and removable features, rapid clamping system using the QUICK, the use of antibacterial materials and the height-adjustable and removable accessories for bathroom and toilet.
